Temples & Gods
There are many temples found throughout the campaign of Al Dohral. Many feature similar aspects - as centers for worship, for example. Actual forms of worship may vary, but can be invoked using the EMOTE/ACTION menu (right click on your character and select the EMOTE option from the radial menu ... the various levels of that menu - via 'more options' should be used to locate and select WORSHIP option). This must be done while the character is in the appropriate area (which varies from temple to temple). The results of worship vary, likewise, from temple to temple, and even worshipper to worshipper.
Let the user be forewarned. There are far-reaching effects within the game, which are invoked by the simple act of worshipping a deity. The repurcussions are not always either immediate nor obvious, but PLAYERS should consider seriously which deities their character worships in the game. YOUR CHARACTER NEED NOT SELECT A SINGLE DEITY TO WORSHIP IN THE GAME - none, one, and many are all options!
DEATH - in the game will ultimately leave one with a choice, having
a deity to supplicate can allow a dead character to return to the
living. How convenient that!? Characters can effectively trade
Soul Runes for resurrections by conversing with their deity after
death. What's more, appeasing the deity in life will someimes earn
a character certain boons from a deity; this may include additional
Soul Runes.
